That’s because we’re building and expanding a state-of-the-art printing technology park designed to handle demanding and exceptional projects. And that’s why customers with equally high standards from all over Europe know us.
Printing & Die-cutting
In addition to offset printing, we specialize in label production. For years, we dreamed of a machine capable of printing and die-cutting in a single pass.
Our dream came true with the unique Rapida 106 8-PL by König & Bauer — a machine we quite literally brought to life. It offers even more than we imagined: eight printing units complemented by two finishing towers — one for die-cutting and one for coating. In this configuration, it’s the only machine of its kind in the world.
The doubled number of printing units is not just a luxury. It allows printing with spot or metallic colors in a single pass. By expanding the color gamut, we can achieve exceptionally brilliant shades — ideal for artistic publications, natural science atlases, and other high-end print products.
An integrated inline camera system continuously monitors the printing process and makes automatic adjustments to ensure perfect and consistent color quality.
The coating unit can apply both full-surface coating and precise spot coating to highlight even the finest details of the print.
Perfect color registration is essential for top-quality printing — but it must not come at the cost of speed. Our press can deliver printed sheets at a speed of 18,000 sheets per hour — that’s five every second!
Production efficiency is further enhanced by the impressive maximum sheet format of 1,060 × 750 mm.
The Rapida 106 K+B in its unique 8-PL configuration is truly an exceptional machine, and we’re proud that our main press offers such capabilities and performance.
Just for perspective: if we wanted to cover Wenceslas Square in Prague, an area of about 45,000 m², with perfectly printed sheets, the job would take us less than three and a half hours.
